Brenna Gathers Booted from American Idol

Except for maybe Jose "Sway" Penala going so soon, there were no big surprises Thursday night on "American Idol." AEI really thought Sway had a couple more rounds in him.
Overall, the bottom six seemed like they all should be there, or would have been there soon.
Brenna Gathers with her "I'm so hot and you're not" attitude was the first to go -- still, she took the moment to call out Clive Davis and ask him to give her a call so she could start her recording career.Heather Cox was next. She really wasn't terrible, she just wasn't spectacular.
And David Radford -- sweet kid, but not enough range -- rounded out the foursome.
The other two in the bottom six: Kinnik Sky and Kevin "Chicken Little" Covais. AEI can't see either of them lasting much longer.

Carrie Underwood Returns To 'American Idol' Tonight

While a couple of Southern, small-town blondes continue their quest to be the fifth "American Idol," they may find inspiration Thursday when another Southern, small-town blonde makes a return to the show. For those not among the millions of "Idol" diehards, that would be Kellie Pickler and Heather Cox welcoming last season's winner, Carrie Underwood.Carrie will sing her hit single "Jesus, Take the Wheel" on the results show, in which four more hopefuls will be sent home. Indeed, the notion of home is exactly Underwood's motivation for her next single, "Don't Forget to Remember Me.""It's about me leaving home," Underwood said recently. "My mom is actually going to be in the video, so it will be really exciting."Underwood was tight-lipped about the concept of the video, which was shot on Valentine's Day in Los Angeles, but she said it was her idea.

Four “American Idol” sent home

Four “American Idol” hopefuls were sent home after receiving the lowest number of votes from viewers. It is about Becky O'Donohue, Stevie Scott, Patrick Hall and Bobby Bennett.
O'Donohue was the first to get the ax. "I think you're going to be a very successful model", said Cowell to the 25-year-old identical twin, who currently appears alongside her sister, Jessie. And it's best to be great at something rather than not so good at something".
Then it was Bennett who gets the ax. “I think all of them deserve a little bit of constructive criticism, if you want me to be honest with you," Seacrest snapped at the judge. Idol voters awarded Bobby the lowest number of votes among the male contestants.
The third sent home was Scott. "Honestly, dude, I found myself daydreaming while you were singing", said Randy Jackson. While Cowell said: "Stevie, I think you completely and utterly messed that up".
Patrick Hall was the last singer getting the boot. He performed "Come to My Window".
"It's a lesson learned. You have to stand out from the crowd. You didn't stand out from the crowd, simple as that", said Cowell after Hall’s elimination.
According to the Fox, almost 40 million votes were cast after Tuesday's and Wednesday's performances.
Five seasons consecutively “American Idol” keeps the audience close to 30 million viewers each night.
Next Tuesday, it comes girls’ turn, the top 10 girls with Paris Bennett, Ayla Brown, Heather Cox, Brenna Gethers, Mandisa, Kinnik Sky, Melissa McGhee, Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler and Lisa Tucker. On Wednesday again the top 10 guys with Kevin Covais, Bucky Covington, Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks, Will Makar, Gedeon McKinney, Jose "Sway" Penala, David Radford, Elliott Yamin and Ace Young. News related after E! Entertainment Television.
