4INFO SMS flight status tracker

Before I left the house last night to pick up a friend at the airport, I sent a text message to mobile search service 4INFO (44636) which read “jetblue 185” - and was seriously impressed to get more information back about the flight, which was diverted through Salt Lake City and landing in San Diego an hour and a half late - than I got at the actual JetBlue web site.
I’ve become a bit of a 4INFO horoscope junkie too, texting them “virgo” while waiting in line at the grocery store, as well as using it to get movie times and drink recipes. Add 4INFO to your phone’s contact list, and text ‘em the word “help” to get back a list of usage examples. I wound up saving that message on my phone for future reference when I need to look something up in a hurry. Also, the 4INFO web site is sporting a much-needed swanky new design these days, where you can try out the mobile search from a phone simulation, too.

SMS Dating Scams

"Valentine's Day can be a great time for romance, but it is also a day when people can get caught up in dating scams," she said.
"More and more singles are using dating agencies as well as mobile phones, SMS and the internet to meet Mr or Miss Right."
She said while these means of finding love are usually legitimate, consumers need to do their homework before signing up or getting involved.
Consumers could end up paying a high price for love by using SMS chat and internet dating services.
